Thank God For Everything

TOPIC: THANK GOD FOR EVERYTHING

Prayer is a necessity – 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Praise also is a necessity. When praise goes up, blessings come down.

Thanksgiving is an absolute necessity- 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Do not wait till you have a breakthrough before thanking God; thank Him even when you are passing through- Ephesians 5:20. Giving thanks is a divine expectation. Jesus desires it and He deserves it.

·         Thank God for the GRACE you enjoy: A man that carries God’s grace cannot suffer disgrace.

·         Thank God for His Mercy and Compassion: Mercy cancels the punishment that we deserve. Psalm 107:1, Lamentations 3:22 Psalm 130:3.

·         Thank God for His loving kindness: He loved us and gave us the best gift (His only begotten Jesus). John 3:16.

·         Thank God for the name of Jesus. Philippians 2:9-11, Mark 16: 17&18.

·         Thank God for Victory with/without a Fight: Isaiah 54:15. Thank God for the enemies that have fallen and those that will fall for your sake.

·         Thank God for His Faithfulness: Lamentation 3:23

·         Thank God for Life: It doesn’t matter the situation you are passing through, while there’s life, there’s hope.

·         Thank God for giving you certain things which money cannot buy.

BENEFITS OF GIVING THANKS TO GOD

1.       Giving thanks to God takes one out of the class of the REST to the class of the BEST

2.       Giving thanks to God can provoke incredible multiplication. Matthew 15:34-38

3.       Giving thanks to God can provoke restoration. John11:35-44

4.       Giving thanks to God provokes deliverance and answered prayers. Psalm 50;14&15

5.       Giving thanks to God brings down God’s glory. 2 Chronicles 5:13&14
