The Truth Shall Set You Free

TOPIC: THE TRUTH SHALL MAKE YOU FREE

Before the truth will make or set you free, you must first know Him. It is the knowledge of the truth that provokes freedom – John 8:32.

Who is the truth? : John 14:6 tell us that Jesus is the truth. Jesus is also known as the son – John 8:36. If you know the truth, your life will change. Jesus, the truth is all you need in order to meet all your needs. Jesus has no substitute; He is the only way to the father – John 14:6.

Everything about Jesus (the truth) provokes results or the miraculous;

1.       His Name: His name guarantees answered prayers – John 14:14. His name is a weapon; at the mention of His name, every knee bows. Philippians 2:9&10, Mark 16:17&18.

2.       His Blood: No medicated soap can wash away sins but only the Blood of Jesus – 1John 1:7^b, Hebrews 10:4. The Blood of Jesus also is a powerful weapon – Revelation 12:11.

3.       His Presence: The miraculous happens wherever He is present. In John 2, Jesus was present at a wedding function in Cana of Galilee. When their wine was exhausted, He miraculously provided them with a better wine. Further example is in John 5:1-9. He can also be present where two or three are gathered in his name – Matthew 18:20.

4.       His Power: Jesus possesses absolute power- Matthew 28:18.

5.       His Word:  Jesus’ word is very powerful. A centurion knew this fact and he got the requested healing for his servant – Matthew 8:8.

6.       His Grace: John 1:17, 1 Corinthians 15:10^a.

7.       His Love: God’s love is unbeatable – John 15:13.

8.       His Garment: In Matthew 9:20-22, a woman who had an issue of blood touched Jesus’ garment and her problems ceased.

9.       His Hands: In Luke 7:14&15, Jesus touched a coffin and a dead man arose.

If you know and come to the truth, He will set you free. Matthew 11:28………

PRAYER POINTS

1.       Father, thank you for what you’ve done for me.

2.       Father, please give me the grace to excel in Jesus’ name.

3.       Father, I need a divine touch, please touch me.

4.       Father, please let every storm that I am passing through cease in Jesus’ name.

5.       Father, I need a pleasant surprise this month in Jesus’ name.
