Pastor J.T. Kalejaiye - My Tomorrow

TOPIC: MY TOMORROW
PREACHER: PASTOR J.T. KALEJAIYE

Your tomorrow starts today; our present is determined by our past actions and our tomorrow/future will be determined by our present actions.
Yesterday was a cancelled cheque; tomorrow is a post-dated cheque; today is the only cash you have. Please spend it well.
Nobody plans to fail but many people fail to plan.

There are at least seven (7) people that can determine your tomorrow;

1.       The Almighty God: He created you and He knew your ending from your beginning, Jeremiah 1:5, Jeremiah 29:11. “If you stand in God’s will and not on his way, His perfect will for you will be fulfilled”. “If you agree with God, your tomorrow will be better”.
2.       Satan and his Agents: Satan is an adversary/enemy; he is a devourer; he is a killer and a destroyer.  John 10:10 reveals his missions in this world. He worked against Judas Iscariot, Gehazi and tampered with their destinies. He desired to destroy Peter but he failed because Jesus prayed for Peter. 1 Peter 5:8 tells how to avoid him. James 4:7, also told us to Submit to God and resist the devil, that way, he will flee away from us.
3.       Your Friends: The people you associate with can affect your tomorrow. The company you keep can determine what will accompany you. A sheep that moves with Dogs will soon eat faeces. There are genuine friends but they are not common. God used Jonathan to help David; Jonathan was a friend indeed. Any friend that leads you to Christ is a good one. Any friend that tells you the truth or rebukes you is a good one. “Show me your friend and I will tell you who you are”.
4.       Your Enemies (If they succeed): Joseph’s brothers tried to prevent him from reaching his goal but they failed. Daniel’s enemies wanted to stop him but they failed. In Matthew 26:15, Judas was offered 30pieces of silver by the enemies in order to betray Jesus, Judas accepted the offer and his tomorrow was tampered with; he never went far.
5.       Your Helpers: God can use anyone to help you; therefore, don’t look down on any one. You need someone in order to get somewhere in life.
6.       Anyone that has Authority over you: Your spiritual, political leaders can affect your tomorrow.
7.       YOURSELF: Individuals can determine their tomorrow by their actions, choices and goals set for themselves.
