Pastor J.T. Kalejaiye - By This Time Tomorrow
TOPIC: BY THIS TIME TOMORROW
TEXT: 2KINGS 7
PREACHER: PASTOR J.T. KALEJAIYE
According to
the passage, there was a famine in the land of Samaria. It was severe and
everywhere was dried. People were eating the available and not the desirable.
To many, the desirable wasn’t affordable. So many people grumbled, they
murmured, they blamed the past and present leaders.
In the midst
of the turbulence, the merciful God intervened. He spoke through Elisha, his
anointed that by this time tomorrow, in other words, in less than 24hrs, the
story would change. God is able to fulfill whatever he says he will do – Job 5:20,
Job: 5:22a.
People react
differently to the word of God
*Many people
don’t believe – they joke about it.
*Some people
doubt the word while
*Few people
believe – 2Chronicles 20:20, Mark 9:23.
Always
believe God for what he says he will do.
By this time
tomorrow is futuristic; it means tomorrow will be better and not bitter.
God used an
unusual weapon before wealth was transferred to his children. He made the
Syrians to hear a noise; they were afraid and fled, leaving their belongings
behind for the children of God to possess.
The word of
God came in 2Kings 7:1 and it came to fulfillment. The man that doubted the
word of God saw the overflow but he never ate/partook of it. He died.
Please don’t
give up yet, tomorrow will be better and not bitter in Jesus’ name; the
children of God passed through before they experienced a breakthrough.
