Thank you Jesus is an expression of appreciation. Appreciation is an expression of gratitude. An attitude of gratitude will take one to a higher altitude.

Showing appreciation is a divine expectation; Jesus desires it and he deserves it.

Many people know how to pray; they bind and loose.

Many people know how to praise but

Very few people know how to give thanks.

Brethren, giving thanks is the will of God – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

According to Luke 17:12-19, ten lepers encountered Jesus, they cried for mercy and they were healed. After receiving their healings, only ONE of the ten lepers went back to Jesus to show appreciation. Jesus though expected the ten of them – Luke 17:17.

The ungrateful are easily identified; they grumble, murmur and complain. The ungrateful is a great fool.

Giving thanks to God is not optional, it is mandatory; give thanks irrespective of what you are passing through. Giving thanks will make your tank full.

Giving thanks provoked divine multiplication – John 6:5-13. Jesus gave thanks over 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes and over 5000 people were fed.

Giving thanks provoked restoration/resurrection – John 11:41-44. At the tomb of Lazarus, Jesus gave thanks; after that, he called on Lazarus and Lazarus came back alive.

Be thankful and grateful to God and to man always. Anyone who finds it difficult to appreciate man that he can see, will find it difficult to appreciate God that he can’t see.

PRAYER POINTS

1.       Thank you Lord for what you have done.

2.       Thank you Lord for what you are doing.

3.       Thank you Lord for what you will do.
