Divine touch can provoke the miraculous. Divine touch can change one’s life and history completely. Divine touch can give Restoration and speech. Divine touch can give Joy and gladness. Jesus can touch people with curable diseases and incurable diseases as well. Jesus can touch people who’s condition are considered hopeless. 

Area of Focus: Luke 7:12-15

The good news is whatever Jesus did in the past, He can do even now. The passage tells of an unpleasant story and pleasant story of a widow. 

Friends, when a man loses his parents he loses his past, when a man loses his spouse he loses is present but if he loses his children, he loses his future. 

THE WIDOW HAD THE FOLLOWING VISITATIONS. 

1. Death paid her a visit and took away her husband. 

2. People paid her a condolences visit when she lost her husband. 

3. Death paid her a second visit and took away her only son. 

4. Many people paid her a condolences visit again. 

5. She encountered Jesus on her way to burial ground and Jesus said to her weep not. Romans 9:15

WHAT HAPPENED AFTER JESUS TOUCHED THE COFFIN?

I. The young man arose after Jesus touched the coffin and He began to speak. 

II. People who were waiting at the cemetery for the arrival of the dead man waited in vain. 

III. The widow, her son and the people went back home, why? Because the had no business with the cemetery again. 

IV. The songs they were singing to the cemetery changed after Jesus intervened. 

V. The woman put off the garment of sorrow. 

VI. Many people paid the widow another visit but this time to rejoice and celebrate with her. 

So friends, don’t write your conclusions yet because your present location is not going to be your permanent location. The best is yet to come. Your tomorrow will be better and not bitter. Whatever you are passing through now, don’t give up because your joy will come. 

There’s hope you in Christ Jesus. He had compassion on that widow. We have never done anything to deserve Mercy. But God just chooses to have mercy on us. Jesus touched the coffin and the dead man arose. 

When you talk of divine touch, you have to be close and have a relationship with God so He can help you. Accept Jesus Christ today as your Lord and Savior and be Saved. He will touch you and intervene for you inasmuch as you have JESUS in your lifeboat. 

ACCEPT JESUS TODAY &  BE SAVED. 

Prayer Points. 

1.  Father, I thank you for everything you have done for me and done through me, please take all the glory.

2. Father, I haven’t done anything to deserve it. Please have mercy and compassion on me.

3. Father, it is my turn to arise, touch my body, touch my business, touch every department of my body that’s not functioning properly and restore me and let there be recovery.

4. Father, throughout this 2024 no body will pay me and my family a condolences visit.
