Who is your master? Your master is someone who has authority over you. Whosoever or whatsoever you serve becomes your master. Who you follow determines what follows you. 

This world is full of attractions and distractions. Many things are competing with God plans for our lives. Many people are serving idols. 

Some people are serving their enemies - Exodus 1:13.

Some people are serving their juniors - Genesis 25:23b.

Some people are serving the creature instead of serving the creator. Some prefer gold to God. Some prefer money to God. Some prefer revenue to revelations. 

No one can serve two masters - Matthew 4:10, Matthew 6:24.

The Bible is all you need to serve God. Nothing should be added to the things of God. Stand with Christ and Christ alone. God is enough for anyone to serve. 

Joshua 24:15 - "For me and my family we will serve the Lord". 

LESSONS 

1. Joshua stood for God: He wasn’t willing to compromise. If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything. Joseph stood for God - Genesis 39:9b. Are you standing for God? The three Hebrew children stood for God - Daniel 3:18.

2. Joshua exercise control over household: He made it mandatory for his household to serve the Lord. Like Joshua do you have influenced over your children. 

3. Joshua demonstrated that he is a good leader: A good leader knows the way, shows the way and leads the way. 

4. Joshua took a wise decision: Instead of giving his children revenue; he showed them the way of the Lord. 

A good leader will teach you good character. Everyday you must do good as a good leader. You know the way, show the way and lead the way. You will give accounts of everything you do on earth. 

Serving God alone will attract many blessings - Matthew 6:33;

1. Your ticket to heaven is guaranteed - Matthew 16:26

2. God will bless your bread and sickness will be fall away from you - Ex 23:25. 

3. There will be divine assistance - Isaiah 43:2.

4. God will make your enemies to be at peace with you - Proverbs 16:7.

Joshua 24:14 - Serve the Lord and Him(GOD) alone. 

Friends, serve God and take Him as your master; because He knows the ending from the beginning. 

Who is your master? God or man. God or gold. 

Who you follow will determine what will follow you.  If you have any charms throw them away because the devil doesn’t have any free gift. It may be working for you today but are you ready pay the prize when the time comes. 

Are you laboring and are you carrying any load alone. Jesus wants to help you. He says come unto me all ye that are laboring and are heavy laden and He will help you and He will give REST.

If He says He will help you, Believe Him for it because He will help you for sure. 

Accept Jesus Christ today and be saved. 

Prayer Points. 

1. Father, I thank you sir for everything you have done for me and done through me please take all the glory.

2. Father, please give me the grace to serve you till the very end.

3. Father, please let my family and I end well and also finish well.
