Pastor J.T. Kalejaiye: Operation Push

TOPIC: OPERATION PUSH
            PREACHER: PASTOR J.T. KALEJAIYE

Push can also mean to move with force or impel someone to action or completion of an action.
A push takes one forward or upward.
If you are too comfortable in Egypt, you will not aspire to go to your promised land.
Anyone who fails to aspire will soon expire.

Therefore brethren, you need a push to move forward.
A pregnant woman must push before her baby/babies will come out…
In John 5:7, a man who had an infirmity for 38yrs desired a PUSH. Unfortunately, no one was willing to push him into the troubled water..

We want to focus on Joseph; he made it to the top through “operation push”
According to Genesis 37:5-11, Joseph had a dream of greatness; he saw a better tomorrow. What can you see? Many eyes look but few eyes see. The pushing began after Joseph revealed his revelations to his brothers; his brothers envied and hated him.
His brothers cast him into an empty pit, they took out of the pit and pushed him further; and they sold him like a commodity to the Ishmaelite for just twenty pieces of silver. The Ishmaelite pushed him further; they sold him to Potiphar and made their profit from the sale. Potiphar made Joseph an overseer over his entire business and household. At a time Joseph ought to be enjoying, Mrs Potiphar pushed him further; she lied against him and Mr Potiphar without conducting proper investigation pushed Joseph into the prison - Genesis 39:20.
Joseph met many prisoners in the prison but God used one of them (the chief butler) to push Joseph to king Pharaoh; the chief butler recommended Joseph to the king (Genesis 41:9-13).
NB: Don’t look down or under estimate anyone because God can use anyone for you.
After the divine meeting with King Pharaoh, the king pushed Joseph to the palace; Joseph became the king’s second in command (Genesis 41:41-45).
Every push took Joseph nearer to his destiny. Joseph passed through before he experienced a breakthrough.
Are you passing through any storm? Don’t give up because you will soon breakthrough.
For Joseph, what the enemies thought was supposed to be a stumbling block, God converted it to a stepping stone; same shall be your portion in Jesus’ name… Amen
