Pastor J.T. Kalejaiye - My Class

Topic: My Class
Text: Matthew 25:1-13
Preacher: Pastor J.T. Kalejaiye

Class means a number of persons forming a group by reason of common attributes and trades.

The question is which class do you belong?

* Matt 25:1-13 - Two classes of people mention here; The Wise and the foolish.

* Proverbs 3:35 - Those who have the eyes that look. Those who have the eyes that see. Many eyes look but few eyes see.

* Luke 17:12-19 - The grateful and the Ungrateful. The ungrateful is a great fool.

Many people come to church, pray, and give offerings. But we belong to different classes. Some of the classes are.

1. The Believers class: These people believe in the word of God and have faith in God. They are willing to do whatever God ask them to do because they have faith in God - Mark 11:22b, Habakkuk 2:4, Romans 10:17, Hebrew 12:38, Hebrew 11:6, Matt 9:20-22, Mark 1.0:52

2. The Unbelievers class: The people in this class hear the word of God but don’t believe in it - Matt 13:58, Hebrew 3:12.

3. The Doubters class: Doubt will take you down; doubt will make you sink - Matt 28:17, Matt 14:30-31, John 1:5-8. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

4. The Mockers class - Isaiah 28:22, Proverbs 14:9, Jude 1:17-18. Are you a mocker?

5. The Hypocrite or Pretenders class: The people in this class have two faces - Job 15:34

6. The Critics: A critic is a person who expresses an unfavorable opinion of something; a person who judges the merits of literary or artistic works, especially one who does so professionally. Such people don’t call the Holy Spirit.

7. The Spectators class: These people form the majority. They simply watch things happen; they don't partake in anything.

8. The Backsliders class - Hebrew 10:39, Luke 9:62.

Among these classes of people, which class do you belong? Please come and join the Believers class. Some people claim to believe in God but in reality are unbelievers. We've been given a name and the name is Jesus. His name is greater than any other name.

Believe and trust in the name of Jesus. The name of Jesus can do everything. Wake up friends, the Bible says you will know the truth and the truth will make you free. When you know Christ no one can deceive you.

Accept Jesus today and be saved.

Prayer Points.

1. Father, for everything you have done for me and done through me please take all the glory.

2. Father, please give me the grace to do your perfect WILL all the time.

3. Father, please let everything created by you work in my favor beginning form today.

4. Father, please don’t let me be a spectator, or a mocker or a backslider; please make me a believer.

5. Father,  please pray for me and let my bitter story change.
